Primaries crisis: Alimosho APC members reject candidates’ list

Members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State's Alimosho Federal Constituency are protesting the candidates' list released by the party leadership, asserting that the incumbent lawmaker, Mr. Ganiyu Ayuba, rightfully won the House of Representatives primary election held on May 16, 2026.

The group, operating under the banner of the APC Alimosho Federal Constituency Synergy Group (AFCSG), has publicly rejected the list, insisting that the primary election results were manipulated. They maintain that Ayuba secured victory in the May 16 primaries and that the subsequent list does not reflect this outcome.

This rejection signals a significant internal crisis within the local APC chapter, highlighting a dispute over the electoral process and candidate selection.
