Prince Harry, his wife Meghan Markle, and their children Archie and Lilibet will reside in royal accommodations during their upcoming family visit to the United Kingdom in July. This trip marks the first time the family of four will return to Britain together since they stepped back from royal duties in 2020.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are expected to stay at various royal residences, with reports suggesting they will be guests of King Charles III. This arrangement contrasts with Harry's previous visits, where he reportedly declined accommodation on royal estates. The couple's departure from royal life was marked by significant family rifts, exacerbated by Harry's memoir "Spare" and ongoing legal battles.

Harry, who is visiting to mark the one-year countdown to the Invictus Games he founded, has expressed a desire to reconcile with his father, King Charles III. However, it remains uncertain if a meeting will occur, especially given the King's ongoing cancer treatment. Their last reported meeting was in September 2025.

A significant concern for Prince Harry is his family's safety in the UK. Following a lost court case regarding the restoration of full police protection during visits, Harry stated in a BBC interview, "It's impossible for me to take my family back to the UK safely." Security arrangements for the July visit are still unclear, with Buckingham Palace reportedly not offering additional security.
