Pakistan's Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party asserts that the current administration, which it refers to as a "Form 47" government, lacks the legitimate authority to enact significant changes to the nation's governance framework. Salman Akram Raja, the PTI Secretary General, articulated this stance, emphasizing the party's openness to forming alliances based on shared principles concerning the country's direction.

Raja indicated that discussions have taken place with Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam chief Fazlur Rehman, focusing on fundamental agreement regarding the nation's trajectory. He stated, "We all agreed that whatever has happened to this country over the past four years was against everyone’s wishes and expectations. In terms of the rule of law and the Constitution, the country has fallen into a deep ditch."
