Puppy recruits start training as bomb-sniffing dogs in Lithuania

The Pulkininko Juozo Vitkaus Engineering Regiment in Lithuania has shared a heartwarming moment: the first day of service for its youngest recruits – puppies destined to become mine-sniffing dogs. While these playful pups may not yet resemble seasoned bomb-disposal experts, they have enthusiastically begun their training and are on track to undertake critical missions.

The regiment, established in 1995, posted endearing photos and videos of the puppies embarking on their careers. The initial day of their service has already captured the hearts of internet users, who have responded with delight to the sight of the future canine soldiers starting their important work.
