Pupuk Kaltim Distributes Aid for Urgent Needs of Earthquake-Affected Residents in NTT

PT Pupuk Kalimantan Timur (Pupuk Kaltim) has channeled Rp100 million in aid to communities affected by earthquakes in Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT). The assistance, delivered through the company's "PKT Proaktif" program, prioritizes urgent needs such as food, sanitation, nutrition, and health, with a specific focus on Manggarai Regency.

Rafli Yandra, President Director of Pupuk Kaltim, stated that the support reflects the company's care and solidarity with the earthquake victims. "This support is part of Pupuk Kaltim's caring spirit through the PKT Proaktif program, as well as a form of the company's presence to continue contributing to the community. This time we are present in NTT to help our brothers and sisters who have suffered a disaster," Rafli said in a written statement on Thursday (20/8/2026).

The aid package includes 1,390 essential items such as mineral water, rice, sugar, and instant noodles. Hundreds of adult and infant sanitation kits were also distributed, addressing critical needs for residents whose living conditions are still unstable. Additionally, Pupuk Kaltim provided nutrition and health packages, including milk for children and the elderly, baby food, complementary biscuits, herbal medicines, baby oil, mosquito repellent, and tarpaulins for temporary shelter.

Yandra expressed hope that the aid would help meet the basic needs of the community, especially those in the emergency phase. "Through PKT Proaktif, the Company continues to strengthen its commitment to provide benefits to the community, including in emergency disaster conditions," he added. Pupuk Kaltim also conveyed its condolences and pledged to monitor the situation for further support during the recovery process.
