Putin thanks UAE for mediating Ukraine prisoner swap

In a phone call with UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Putin acknowledged the Gulf nation's assistance in facilitating the return of captured soldiers and civilians.

The conversation also touched upon the situation in the Persian Gulf, with both leaders stressing the importance of reaching agreements that consider the legitimate interests of regional states.
