Quang Tri province transfers eight commune Party secretaries

The Standing Committee of the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee has announced the transfer and appointment of eight commune-level Party secretaries. This significant cadre reshuffling is intended to strengthen the leadership team and ensure effective governance following recent administrative unit reorganizations.

During a ceremony on June 26, the committee revealed the appointments for the 2025-2030 term. Key personnel changes include Pham Trung Dong moving from Quảng Ninh commune to Ninh Châu commune, and Nguyen Ngoc Thu shifting from Ninh Châu to Quảng Ninh. Similarly, Nguyen Ngoc Tuan is now the Party Secretary of Bố Trạch commune, replacing Pham Dinh Dung, who takes over Hoàn Lão commune.

Other transfers involve Dinh Thieu Son moving to Nam Ba Đồn commune and Cao Xuan Duc to Nam Gianh commune. Tran Thi Thanh Ha will lead Ái Tử commune, while Nguyen Thi Thanh Huong takes charge of Hiếu Giang commune. Nguyen Van Phuong, the Provincial Party Secretary, congratulated the officials, expressing confidence in their ability to contribute to local socio-economic development, Party building, and security.

Phuong emphasized the need for the newly appointed secretaries to address local challenges, boost economic growth, expedite investment projects, increase revenue, and promote sustainable agriculture and new rural development. He also stressed the importance of effectively managing the reorganization of residential areas and developing capable local officials to improve living standards and reduce poverty.
