QVS U14 carries school's hopes into Deans Trophy final

Queen Victoria School's Under-14 rugby team is preparing to carry the hopes of their entire rugby community into the Vodafone Deans Trophy final. With the school's senior teams having been eliminated from the competition, the U14 side now shoulders the significant responsibility of bringing home the coveted trophy.

The young QVS players are set to face Ratu Navula High School in a decisive showdown in Suva on Saturday. Coach Moape Vosawale expressed that the team's morale has been significantly boosted by the unwavering support from students, parents, old scholars, and the wider school community. This collective backing has instilled a powerful motivation in the players to represent QVS with pride and determination.

Vosawale acknowledged the importance of the upcoming week, stating that the team will meticulously review their semifinal performance to identify and address weaknesses. He anticipates a challenging final against Ratu Navula, recognizing that their opponents will likely have strategic surprises.
