According to a complaint lodged on behalf of the residents, the disruptions are not new. Similar problems occurred just four days before the recent Hari Raya Aidilfitri holiday, and on previous occasions, leading to weeks of unserviced outages. The radio service has been unavailable, with listeners only hearing static noise.
