Raffi Ahmad Reveals Haji Isam's Role as Mentor at RANS Entertainment IPO

Raffi Ahmad, founder of PT Rans Entertainment Indonesia Tbk. (RANS), revealed the reasons behind the presence of businessman Andi Syamsuddin Arsyad, widely known as Haji Isam, at his company's initial public offering (IPO) on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX).

Raffi described Haji Isam as one of his mentors. The coal entrepreneur from South Kalimantan was present to symbolically press the bell, marking the start of the IPO for the company owned by Raffi and Nagita Slavina on Friday morning, July 10, 2026.

"For Mr. Adi Samsudin or Haji Isam, he will be seen later, because if the ownership is 1 percent, it's clear. And yes, he believes in RANS, he believes in me, he is also my mentor," Raffi stated at the IDX building.

Haji Isam also conveyed a message to the youth: "Young people must advance, the younger generation must advance." Raffi added that Haji Isam's presence and bell-pressing symbolized his support for RANS.

RANS offered 2,525,000,000 new shares, representing 20.02% of its placed and paid-up capital, aiming to raise Rp 429.25 billion. The media and entertainment issuer set an offering price of Rp 170 per share. Upon the initial listing and market opening, the stock price surged to Rp 228 per share.

Other notable attendees included Garibaldi Thohir, also known as Boy Thohir, who is the main shareholder of PT Trimegah Sekuritas Indonesia Tbk (TRIM), the underwriter for RANS. Anindya Bakrie, a prominent figure from Bakrie Group and Chairman of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin), also congratulated RANS on its IPO. Anindya, who has known Raffi Ahmad for 20 years, praised the creative industry and highlighted Raffi's hard work in building his business.
