Raimedas Latvys unveils MAX DRAMA collection with standout guests and unconventional models

Raimedas Latvys brought MAX DRAMA to Vilnius Town Hall with a fashion show built around faces and personalities that conventional casting might overlook. Among the guests was Jessica Shy, one of Lithuania’s most prominent music stars.

The collection explores a world in which people constantly create public personas, compete for attention and try to remain visible in an endless flow of images and information. MAX DRAMA asks where authenticity ends and performance begins, and what remains after the cameras switch off.

Latvys opened the casting process to everyone. More than 350 people came forward, including professional models and people who had never walked a runway. They differed in age, height, body type and style. Some were described as beautiful, unusual, famous, quiet, too tall, too short or simply “too much.”

“This time, we are not looking simply for models, but for people who would bring their own story, character and real emotion to the runway. I am not interested in whether someone fits the traditional model standard. What matters much more is whether the model is brave enough and confident in themselves,” Latvys said.

The open casting offered the first glimpse of the show’s idea: the runway would present not only clothes, but also a sharply varied group of people. Two presentations took place on Monday, drawing about 600 viewers altogether.
