Rain to continue for four days in some parts of the UAE, says weather body

Parts of the United Arab Emirates can expect continuous rain for the next four days, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM). The downpours began on Friday in some eastern and southern regions. The NCM attributes the wet weather to a surface low-pressure system, amplified by a weak low-pressure system in the upper atmosphere. Saturday's forecast indicates clear to partly cloudy skies, with a possibility of convective clouds forming over eastern and southern areas and inland locations, potentially bringing rain. Light to moderate southeasterly to northeasterly winds are expected, occasionally becoming active and causing dust, with speeds ranging from 10 to 25 km/h, gusting up to 50 km/h. The sea conditions in the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman will be moderate. Looking ahead to Sunday, the weather is predicted to be generally partly cloudy. Cumulus clouds may develop over eastern, western, and inland areas, with a chance of rain. Winds will remain light to moderate, shifting from southeasterly to northeasterly, and could become active and dust-stirring at times.
