Rana Sanaullah says PML-N will form govt in AJK with two-thirds majority

Rana Sanaullah, an adviser to Pakistan's Prime Minister, expressed confidence that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) will secure a two-thirds majority in the upcoming Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) government. Addressing a rally in Bagh, he stated the party had already won 24 seats in the initial election phases.

Sanaullah anticipates winning six more seats to achieve the desired majority. He expects four additional seats from the August 10 polls and five more from the remaining districts of Poonch Division. "The PML-N will form a government with a two-thirds majority," he asserted, attributing the expected success to the public's trust in PML-N, Mian Nawaz Sharif, and development initiatives in Punjab.

The election process in the region has faced adjustments, with the third phase in Poonc Division now limited to Bagh and Haveli districts due to law and order concerns. Sanaullah's remarks aim to galvanize support and project a strong electoral performance for PML-N in AJK.
