Rashwan: Accurate, timely information vital to combating rumors

Egypt’s Minister of State for Information Diaa Rashwan called for closer coordination among government spokespersons, media advisers and print, broadcast and television outlets to speed the release of accurate information.

Rashwan said official accounts of events, decisions, measures and achievements would help close information gaps and counter rumors about state and community affairs.
