Record Puts Bruma on Aris’ Radar

Aris is looking again for a winger after its move for Alexander Zauē from Bastia collapsed, and Portuguese reports have placed Benfica’s Bruma in the club’s sights.

The 31-year-old Portuguese winger is reportedly outside Benfica’s plans, only a year after the club paid Sporting Braga 6.5 million euros for him. Bruma previously spent the 2020-21 season in Greece with Olympiacos.

His situation has been shaped by a serious Achilles injury. He suffered a complete tear in his left Achilles tendon during the Eusébio Cup match against Fenerbahçe at the start of last season, beginning a long period marked by repeated physical problems. He eventually played only three official matches in the 2025-26 season.

He is described as the last surplus player at the club without a new team. Bruma remains under contract with Benfica until 2028.
