Regent Jeje Gradually Delivers Long-Awaited Road Repairs in West Bandung

Two long-damaged roads in West Bandung are finally receiving repairs, bringing relief to residents who have waited years for smoother routes. The work covers the Ciririp-Bangsaya road in Cililin and the Rancapanggung-Ugrem road in Sindangkerta.

Regent Jeje Ritchie Ismail has inspected the repairs and said the local government was accelerating work on infrastructure that residents urgently need. On Ciririp-Bangsaya, the government is handling about 2.3 kilometers this year. Of that total, 1,865 meters of hot-mix paving has been completed, while workers have begun pouring concrete on another 518 meters.

The road provides an important connection for residents traveling toward Ciwideuy in neighboring Bandung Regency. On Rancapanggung-Ugrem, which stretches about two kilometers, the government has focused this year on 300 meters at the most severely damaged points because of budget limits. Jeje said the work would continue gradually, based on available funding and conditions in the field.
