Kazakh theater has lost a celebrated figure with the death of Bizhamal Kemalova. The Saken Seifullin Karaganda Regional Academic Kazakh Drama Theater announced her passing, stating she died after a prolonged and serious illness. Kemalova dedicated almost her entire professional life to the stage, joining the troupe in the early 1980s and becoming one of its leading actresses.

Throughout her career, she created dozens of memorable stage characters, embodying Kazakh girls, women, mothers, and grandmothers with her distinctive style and mastery.

Born on December 16, 1958, Kemalova graduated from the Almaty State Institute of Theater and Art in 1983. The theater emphasized that the characters she brought to life are an indelible part of Kazakh theatrical history.
