Report: Barcelona plans to sign Ounah

FC Barcelona is reportedly targeting Moroccan midfielder Azzedine Ounah, with a financial ceiling set at 10 million euros for the transfer. The Spanish giants are keen to capitalize on Ounah's diminished market value following Girona's relegation to the second division.

The potential acquisition comes as Barcelona reassesses its midfield options due to an injury to Dutch player Frenkie de Jong, who is expected to be sidelined for several months. The club prioritizes signing a player who can immediately contribute without imposing a significant financial burden.

However, Barcelona faces competition for Ounah's signature. Real Betis has also expressed serious interest in the player, who is reportedly eager to finalize his future before the transfer window closes. Ounah previously attracted Barcelona's attention after his standout performance for Morocco in the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
