Roads of Serbia: Traffic suspension on Arilje-Prilike section starting Sunday for asphalting

Road users in Serbia should prepare for traffic disruptions on a key route connecting Arilje and Prilike. Putevi Srbije, the national road management company, announced a temporary closure of the state road section in Dobrače, specifically between the hydroelectric power plant in the gorge and the bridge on the Panjica river.

The closure is scheduled to begin on Sunday at 8 a.m. and will last until Monday at 6 a.m. This period is necessary to allow for essential asphalting work to be carried out on the affected stretch of road. The company has assured that the work zone will be equipped with adequate traffic signaling and equipment to manage the situation.

During the closure, all traffic will be rerouted. Drivers will need to follow an alternative route that bypasses the closed section. The designated detour will take travelers via Arilje, Guča, Kotraža, and Ivanjica before reaching Prilike, in both directions. Commuters are advised to plan their journeys accordingly to account for potential delays.
