Romanian President to Join Ukraine Support Meeting Via Videoconference

Romanian President Nicușor Dan is set to join the "Coalition of the Willing" meeting for Ukraine through a videoconference. The summit, scheduled for Monday at 13:00, will be held in a hybrid format, with key figures like French President Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, and British Prime Minister Andy Burnham co-chairing. The meeting's location is symbolically set for Kyiv, coinciding with Ukraine's 35th Independence Day anniversary.

British Prime Minister Andy Burnham will co-preside over his first Coalition of the Volunteers meeting, emphasizing the United Kingdom's unwavering support for Ukraine. "At this 35th anniversary of Ukraine's independence, the Ukrainian people must have no doubt: the United Kingdom stands with you today and will remain so as long as it takes," Burnham stated. Approximately ten participants, including European Council President Antonio Costa, are expected to be in Kyiv alongside President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
