Ronaldo enters acting with football TV series 'Day 1s'

Cristiano Ronaldo is expanding his business ventures into acting with a new television series called 'Day 1s'. The football superstar, who recently turned 41, is co-producing the drama through his UR Marv Studios alongside acclaimed director Matthew Vaughn.

The series is set in the world of professional football and is currently in production. According to The Sun, the story centers on top football agent Stanley Dutton, portrayed by Damian Lewis, known for his roles in 'Homeland' and 'Billions'. Filming has taken place at Barnet's stadium, where Lewis has been seen.

The concept for 'Day 1s' is based on the experiences of agent Darren Dein, who is also serving as an executive producer. Dein has represented players like Thierry Henry, and the plot reportedly begins with his mysterious arrest.

Ronaldo himself will not only produce but also appear on screen, marking his acting debut. The cast also includes British rapper Dave and actress Carlota Banat, though their roles are yet to be revealed. The series is anticipated to premiere next year and has already generated significant interest from major streaming platforms due to its high-profile production and cast.
