The Portuguese superstar netted twice, overcoming an early deficit to ensure his team claimed all three points.

Al-Taawoun had taken the lead in the 12th minute through Bassam Al-Huraiji. However, Ronaldo equalized just before halftime with a powerful finish. He then completed the turnaround five minutes into the second half, tapping in Mohamed Simakan’s effort to seal the 2-1 win. This brace not only secured the victory but also etched Ronaldo's name further into the club's history, making him Al-Nassr's all-time leading scorer in the league with 104 goals.

With this win, Al-Nassr continues its perfect start to the season, accumulating 12 points from their first four matches. Al-Taawoun, meanwhile, remains in 15th place, having secured two draws and two defeats. In another match, Al-Hilal delivered a strong performance, defeating Al-Khaleej 5-1 to move into second place in the standings, three points behind Al-Nassr.

Al-Hilal's goals came from Mohamed Kader Meite, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, Theo Hernandez, Crysencio Summerville, and Sultan Mandash. Al-Khaleej managed a single goal from Saleh Al-Amri. Al-Hilal's next fixture is a postponed match against Al-Ahli, while Al-Khaleej remains 13th with three points.
