Al-Qadsia appoints Ahmed Al-Houli as volleyball technical director

Kuwait City – Al-Qadsia club has named Kuwaiti coach Ahmed Al-Houli as the technical director for its volleyball sector, a role he will assume for the 2026-27 season. This appointment is a key component of the club's strategic initiative to enhance its sports infrastructure and provide comprehensive oversight for all its age-group volleyball teams.

Al-Houli's extensive background in Kuwaiti volleyball and his deep understanding of local players and coaches were instrumental in his selection. He will be responsible for supervising all technical operations within the volleyball department as the club prepares for the upcoming season. His expertise is expected to guide the development and performance of the teams across various age levels.

The club's volleyball department is actively finalizing its preparations for the new season. In addition to Al-Houli's appointment, Al-Qadsia has brought in Humber Alejandro as the head coach for the first team. Mohammed Al-Damkhi has been appointed as the volleyball director, and Diego has joined the coaching staff as an assistant coach. These strategic hires aim to build a strong and cohesive coaching unit.

Furthermore, Al-Qadsia has strengthened its first-team squad with the addition of Beninese professional player Daouda Yakubu. Local talents Yousef Mandeel and Abdullah Al-Assaf have also joined the team. These player acquisitions underscore Al-Qadsia's ambition to not only compete at a high level with its senior team but also to cultivate a robust youth development program, ensuring a steady pipeline of talent for the future.
