Rosendahl Bach advances to European Championships final in 200m butterfly

Danish swimmer Helena Rosendahl Bach has advanced to the final of the 200-meter butterfly at the European Aquatics Championships in Paris. She secured her spot by winning her semifinal heat with the second-fastest time overall, 2 minutes and 7.18 seconds, just 0.08 seconds behind Britain's Emily Richards.

Bach is the reigning European champion in this discipline and will be looking to defend her title on Sunday. She had previously set the fastest time in the preliminary heats with 2 minutes and 8.42 seconds. The 26-year-old swimmer from Holstebro is considered a favorite, having also won a World Championship silver medal in the event.

In other sports news, Danish golfers Jeff Winther and Rasmus Højgaard are performing well at the Danish Golf Championship. Winther sits in sixth place at 10 under par, with Højgaard one shot behind in a tie for seventh. The tournament is part of the DP World Tour, the second-highest level of professional golf globally.
