Route to Sabiha Gökçen Airport changed due to TEM Highway work

Road maintenance on the TEM Highway is affecting passenger transport to Sabiha Gökçen Airport. The General Directorate of Highways is carrying out infrastructure work between the East Izmit Junction and Dilovası Junction on the TEM Highway, leading to a temporary rerouting of bus services.

To mitigate disruptions caused by the ongoing construction, bus services operating on the Kocaeli-Sabiha Gökçen Airport route are now temporarily using the Northern Marmara Motorway. This change aims to ensure continued access to the airport despite the roadworks.

As a result of the mandatory route change, passenger boarding points have also been updated. The Körfezpark Dinlenme Tesisleri (Tem76) stop will not be used for passenger pick-ups until the work is completed. Passengers who planned to board from this location are advised to make their way to the Kocaeli Intercity Bus Terminal for their transportation.
