Roy Suryo and Dr. Tifa to be transferred from Police Hospital tonight, handed over to prosecutors tomorrow

Roy Suryo and Tifauziah Tyassuma, also known as Dr. Tifa, are scheduled to be moved to the Metro Jaya Regional Police detention center on Sunday night. Both are suspects in a case involving accusations of defamation and damage to the reputation of President Joko Widodo concerning the authenticity of his diploma.

The transfer comes after they were held at the Police Hospital. Police are coordinating with the hospital in Kramat Jati for their relocation. "The latest update is that suspects Tifa and Roy S will be brought from RS Kramat Jati tonight and will stay overnight at the PMJ Detention Center. The investigators are currently coordinating with the hospital regarding the transfer from the hospital to the PMJ Detention Center," stated Kombes Pol Budi Hermanto, Head of Public Relations for the Metro Jaya Regional Police, on Sunday night.

The latest update is that suspects Tifa and Roy S will be brought from RS Kramat Jati tonight and will stay overnight at the PMJ Detention Center. The investigators are currently coordinating with the hospital regarding the transfer from the hospital to the PMJ Detention Center.

Following their overnight stay at the detention center, both suspects are slated for handover to the South Jakarta District Attorney's Office on Monday morning. The transfer is planned for 9:00 AM WIB. "Furthermore, tomorrow at 9:00 AM, they will jointly depart from the Polda (Regional Police Headquarters) to the Kejari (District Attorney's Office) of South Jakarta for Stage 2," Hermanto added. Stage 2 typically signifies the handover of the case file and the suspects to prosecutors for further legal proceedings.
