Rubio Ñu Seeks New Coach After Giménez Dismissal

Rubio Ñu is in the market for a new head coach after parting ways with Felipe Giménez following a home loss to Recoleta FC. Giménez, who replaced Gustavo Eliseo Morínigo at the start of the season, was dismissed after a string of poor results. The club's management, led by Rubén Martín Ruiz Díaz, is actively searching for Giménez's successor. The top target is reportedly Francisco "Chiqui" Arce, a highly regarded Paraguayan coach who likely has more attractive offers elsewhere. Other potential candidates being considered include Pedro Alcides Sarabia and Julio César Cáceres. A new name, Julio César Irrazábal, has also been put forward by a club staff member, noted for his successful tenure with Deportivo Santaní in the División Intermedia. Rubio Ñu's next match is against Guaraní on Saturday. If the coaching situation remains unresolved, the team will once again be managed by interim coaches Miguel Pavani and Roberto Acuña. Their previous stint in charge ended in a 2-0 defeat against Olimpia on April 12.
