Rüdiger and Endrick join Real Madrid preseason after World Cup duty

German defender Antonio Rüdiger and Brazilian forward Endrick have officially joined Real Madrid's preseason preparations. The duo, who represented their national teams in the World Cup, commenced training on Wednesday after completing their medical assessments.

Under the guidance of coach José Mourinho, Rüdiger and Endrick participated in their first training session. The club confirmed their integration, noting that they join other internationals like Arda Güler, Fede Valverde, and new signing Denzel Dumfries, who are already training with the squad.

More international players are expected to join in the coming weeks, following their respective World Cup eliminations. Vinicius Jr., Bernardo Silva, Brahim Díaz, and Thibaut Courtois are slated to return during the third week of training. Meanwhile, Ibrahima Konaté, Marc Cucurella, Kylian Mbappé, and Aurélien Tchouaméni will have extended holidays.

Real Madrid's preseason will conclude on August 16 with a friendly against Schalke 04. The team is gearing up for the start of LaLiga EA Sports on August 22, with their opening match against Espanyol. Their first fixture against Real Sociedad was postponed to August 26.
