Russia Launches Combined Missile and Drone Attacks on Ukrainian Logistics and Port Facilities

The Russian military reported launching a combined assault of long-range missiles and drones throughout the night of August 28-29, striking logistics centers in Kyiv and port facilities in the southern Odesa region. The Ministry of Defense stated these sites were used to supply the Ukrainian armed forces.

In the Kyiv region, the FIM Service logistics center in Chaika was reportedly hit. Russian defense officials claimed its warehouses contained "Flamingo" cruise missile components. Another logistics center in Kalynivka, described as a customs terminal distributing Western military supplies, was also targeted.

Additionally, a Fire Point arsenal in Milaya, allegedly storing components and propellant for "FP-1" and "FP-2" long-range drones, was reportedly destroyed. In the Odesa region, a mooring for tankers and fuel terminals at the Izmail port were attacked.

The Russian Ministry of Defense also stated that in the port of Mykolaiv, a maritime transshipment terminal, logistics centers for military cargo, 18 military warehouses, and three fuel and lubricant depots for the Ukrainian armed forces were attacked.
