Russia loses 1,390 soldiers over the past day, Ukraine says

Ukraine's General Staff says Russia lost 1,390 soldiers over the past day, taking its estimate of Russian military personnel losses since the full-scale invasion began to 1,496,440.

The Ukrainian update, published on Facebook, also listed five tanks, five armoured combat vehicles and 33 artillery systems among the latest Russian losses. It reported one multiple-launch rocket system, one air-defence system, five ground robotic systems and 392 vehicles and fuel tankers destroyed or damaged.

The cumulative figures cited by Ukraine include 12,331 tanks, 25,278 armoured combat vehicles, 49,260 artillery systems, 2,096 multiple-launch rocket systems and 1,605 air-defence systems. Ukraine also reported 501,244 operational-tactical UAVs, 5,070 cruise missiles, 144,435 vehicles and fuel tankers, and 4,644 special vehicles and other equipment lost by Russian forces.

The General Staff reported no new losses of fixed-wing aircraft, helicopters, cruise missiles, ships, submarines or special vehicles in the latest daily update. It said the information was being confirmed.
