Russia warns of ‘semi-military’ response to UK over Ukraine missile blueprints

Russia has issued a stark warning of a 'semi-military' response to the United Kingdom following Prime Minister Andy Burnham's announcement to share military blueprints with Ukraine. The declaration came on Ukraine's independence day, a symbolic moment for the embattled nation.

The blueprints in question are for the Storm Shadow/Scalp missile, a British-French weapon system. Russia views this move as a significant escalation. Andrei Fedorov, an adviser to the Kremlin, characterized the UK's actions as adding "fuel to the fire" and explicitly stated that the UK is "involved in this war on the side of the Kyiv regime."

Burnham, however, remained resolute, directly challenging Russia's framing of the situation. When asked about Russia's accusation of "starting the fire," he retorted, "Who started the fire?
