Russian Drama Theater in Bishkek opens 92nd season with 'Bad Boys' premiere

The Chingiz Aitmatov Russian Drama Theater in Bishkek is set to launch its 92nd season with the premiere of the crime comedy 'Bad Boys.' The play, scheduled for performances on September 19 and 20, promises an evening of intrigue and humor based on the well-known work by British playwrights Ray and Michael Cooney.

Adapted from 'Tom, Dick, and Harry,' the production delves into a comedic scenario where characters find themselves increasingly entangled as they attempt to navigate and extricate themselves from complex circumstances. The play's direction is helmed by Alexander Panin, with stage and set design by Angelina Gayyer.

The cast comprises a sizable ensemble of twelve actors, including Vladimir Kislyak, Dmitry Bondarenko, Nikita Bondarenko, Nina Chernysheva, Marina Falman, Aidana Ismailova, Zarema Akmasheva, Alexander Stepanov, Vladislav Semenov, Mark Glikman, Vera Stepanova, and Mederbek Duishenaliev. Their collective performance is expected to bring the intricate plot and comedic timing of the play to life.
