The party leadership took a firm stance against what they termed "baseless" speculation regarding an impeachment plot against Governor Makinde, dismissing such reports as deliberate attempts to stir political unrest. In a pointed critique, Atofarati condemned the remarks made by former Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose, describing them as "irresponsible and self-serving" and harmful to public discourse, especially concerning traditional institutions.
