Sailun targets Indonesian agriculture with MAXAM tire technology

Indonesian agricultural and industrial sectors are being targeted by tire manufacturer Sailun with its MAXAM technology, which the company asserts can significantly increase productivity while simultaneously cutting operational expenses for heavy machinery and farm equipment.

Sailun introduced this technology at the Indonesia International Agriculture Exhibition (INAGRITECH) 2026, held in Jakarta from July 28-30, 2026. During the event, the company displayed a range of MAXAM tires designed for agricultural, construction, and forestry applications.

James, Director of Off-the-Road Tires at Sailun Asia, stated that the MAXAM tire technology is engineered to help customers reduce their total cost of ownership (TCO). This is achieved through improved tire durability, extended service life, reduced equipment downtime, and enhanced operational efficiency. "The Groundbreaker Hub represents our commitment to setting new industry standards, particularly in performance, wear resistance, and soil protection in Indonesia," James said.

Sailun believes this technology will address the operational challenges faced by Indonesia's agricultural, construction, and forestry sectors, which require highly reliable equipment. The company also noted that using more durable tires can help lower hourly operating costs. At the exhibition, Sailun provided detailed technical specifications and usage recommendations for its MAXAM tires via QR codes and a tractor simulation installation.
