Samsung Galaxy A27 5G offers immersive display and AI features

Samsung Electronics has introduced the Galaxy A27 5G, the latest addition to its Galaxy A series, targeting users seeking premium features at a more accessible price point. This new smartphone builds upon the legacy of the Galaxy A26 5G, offering significant upgrades in display, performance, durability, and artificial intelligence (AI).

The device features a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, promising a smoother and more immersive viewing experience. Samsung has refined the Infinity-O design with a smaller punch-hole front camera and slimmer bezels to maximize screen real estate. The Galaxy A27 5G maintains a slim profile at 7.8mm thickness, designed for comfortable daily use. Durability is enhanced with Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection, reducing the risk of scratches and everyday damage.

From the aspect of photography, the Galaxy A27 5G is equipped with a 12-megapixel (MP) front camera that can capture a wider range of lighting and richer colors, producing selfies that look more natural in various lighting conditions.

Under the hood, the Galaxy A27 5G is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 Mobile Platform, delivering responsive performance for tasks such as content streaming, mobile gaming, and multitasking. For productivity, the Voice Transcription feature in the Voice Recorder app now offers real-time translation during transcription, supporting up to 22 languages. The Galaxy A27 5G supports AI assistants like Google Gemini and Perplexity, with deeper integration into Galaxy apps. Additionally, Bixby is introduced as a conversational AI agent for controlling device settings and functions through natural language commands.
