Saudi Hajj Ministry Approves 2026 Evaluation Results for International Pilgrim Service Providers

Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has approved the evaluation results for companies providing services to international pilgrims during the 2026 Hajj season. This move is part of the ministry's ongoing efforts to elevate service standards, boost quality, and ensure greater transparency in assessing provider performance, aligning with Saudi Vision 2030 and the Pilgrim Experience Program.

The evaluation encompasses companies contracted by pilgrimage affairs offices, affiliated organizers, and those operating under a direct Hajj model. Each company is then classified into one of three tiers: Outstanding Performance, Very Good Performance, or Good Performance. The annual assessment, conducted after each Hajj season, weighs compliance and adherence at 60 percent and service quality at 40 percent.

Assessments are based on field monitoring, documented data, and pilgrim satisfaction surveys. The process includes mechanisms for addressing objections to ensure fairness and accuracy. By publishing these results, the ministry aims to inform stakeholders, encourage service providers to enhance their performance, and cultivate a positive competitive environment. This initiative seeks to ultimately improve the overall experience for pilgrims in upcoming seasons.
