Kaduna State's School Feeding Programme is significantly improving the health of pupils in public boarding schools and alleviating financial pressure on parents, according to Hajiya Fauziyah Buhari-Ado, Senior Special Assistant to the governor on school feeding. The government fully covers feeding costs and approved school charges for students in five public boarding schools within Kaura Local Government Area.

The statement was made during a free medical outreach in Manchok, Kaura Local Government Area, organized by the Bantex Memorial Foundation in collaboration with the Second Chance Humanitarian Aid Foundation.
