Bolivian authorities have intensified search and rescue operations for a prosecutor who has been missing since Friday, August 15, following a plane crash in the Amazonian region of Beni. The prosecutor, Juan Benjo Huchani Alpire, was on board a private aircraft with three other individuals when it went down near a rural airport.

Rescuers have conducted aerial surveys of the crash site in the Cachascani hacienda area of Beni to coordinate ground and air search efforts.
