Two Departments Now in Severe Thunderstorm Zone

Paraguay's Directorate of Meteorology has issued a severe weather alert, forecasting the advance of storm cells over the southwestern region of the Oriental Plains. The southern areas of the Misiones and Ñeembucú departments are expected to bear the brunt of the meteorological warning.

Residents in the affected zones can expect rain accompanied by moderate to strong thunderstorms, winds ranging from moderate to strong, and the possibility of hail. These conditions pose a risk of flash floods, sudden wind gusts, and lightning strikes.
