Search Operation in Chihuahua Yields No Findings for Missing Persons

The '10 de Octubre' collective, in collaboration with the State Investigation Agency (AEI), carried out a series of searches in the municipalities of Jiménez and Villa López in Chihuahua, Mexico. These operations are part of continuous efforts to locate individuals reported missing.

The Fiscalía de Distrito Zona Sur directed the search, focusing on the community of San Luis in Villa López and various points along the Jiménez–Villa López highway. Participants included public prosecutors, AEI investigators specializing in missing persons, personnel from the State Executive Commission for Victim Assistance (CEAVE), and family members of the disappeared.

During the operation, ground and vehicle patrols covered roads, trails, and other areas of interest. The objective was to find any clues or evidence that could advance the ongoing investigations into the cases of absent persons.

Despite the extensive efforts, the searches concluded without any significant findings. Authorities stated that field and office investigations will persist to strengthen and clarify the disappearance cases.
