Search underway for 13-year-old missing in Limpio

The Public Ministry has launched a search for a 13-year-old boy who has been missing since July 3, 2026. Prosecutor Sara Torres Villalba of the Penal Unit No. 2 in Limpio has requested the public's help in locating Jonathan Santos Figueredo Núñez.

The investigation began after Jonathan's mother reported him missing to the 47th Central Police Station in Limpio. The teenager reportedly left his home in the 24 de Mayo settlement around 5:30 PM on July 3rd and has not been seen or heard from since.

The Prosecutor's Office has instructed the Department of Search and Location of Persons to conduct all necessary inquiries. This includes reviewing surveillance camera footage from the area and pursuing other investigative leads to find the boy.

At the time of his disappearance, Jonathan was wearing a short blue jacket with "Club Cerro Porteño" insignia and black shoes. He is described as having a medium build, dark complexion, ash-colored dyed hair, and a robust physique. Anyone with information is urged to contact the nearest police station or the 911 emergency system to aid in his swift return home.
