Seattle Seahawks sold for record $9.6 billion

The Seattle Seahawks, a prominent franchise in the National Football League, have been sold for a record-breaking sum of over $9.6 billion. This landmark transaction sets a new benchmark for team valuations within the American football league.

The investment group that acquired the Seahawks was led by the Khosla family. Notably, the family previously held a minority ownership stake in the San Francisco 49ers, another NFL team. To comply with league regulations, they will divest their interest in the 49ers before taking full control of the Seahawks.
