Sedapal announces water outage of up to 10 hours for Monday, August 24: LIST of affected districts

Sedapal, Lima's water utility, has announced planned disruptions to water service on Monday, August 24th. These interruptions are necessary for preventive maintenance work and will impact specific sectors within several districts.

The scheduled cuts will vary in duration and location. In Chorrillos, service will be interrupted from 5:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the A. H. General Miguel Iglesias, A. H. Intillacta, and A. H. Marcavilca areas. Lurigancho will experience outages from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. in zones including the La Capitana urbanization and various associations, with additional areas affected from 1:00 p.m. to 11:50 p.m. In Comas, the water supply will be cut from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. within a specific quadrant bounded by several avenues and streets.

Sedapal advises residents in the affected areas to prepare by storing sufficient water in clean containers to meet their needs during the service suspension. The utility emphasized that the cuts do not necessarily encompass entire districts but are targeted at specific urbanizations, associations, and human settlements.
