Water Service Interruption Planned for Several Lima Districts on August 3

Residents in several districts of Lima will experience water supply disruptions on Monday, August 3, as announced by the Service of Potable Water and Sewerage of Lima (Sedapal). The planned cuts are part of preventive maintenance efforts aimed at ensuring the continued quality of service.

The interruptions will affect various zones across different schedules, with some areas facing suspensions of up to 12 hours. Sedapal has advised the public to take precautionary measures, such as storing water in clean containers, to minimize the impact of the service suspension.

Sedapal also provided guidance on payment methods for water bills, suggesting options like mobile banking apps, digital wallets such as Yape, or the provider's virtual office, emphasizing the convenience of paying through these digital channels.
