Lima and Callao districts face up to 12-hour power outages August 5-7

Pluz has announced scheduled power interruptions affecting more than 10 districts in Lima and Callao between August 5 and 7. These planned outages are necessary for maintenance and interventions on the electrical grid. The disruptions will impact various areas, including San Juan de Lurigancho, Puente Piedra, Bellavista, Carabayllo, and Rímac. The duration of the power cuts will vary, with some lasting several hours and others up to approximately eight hours. The company urges residents to consult the specific schedule for their sector to make necessary arrangements. For example, in Lima's Cercado district, outages are planned from 12:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. affecting areas like Av. Abancay and Jr. Ayacucho. In Callao, streets such as Las Azucenas and Los Geranios will be without power from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. San Martín de Porres will experience disruptions in the California urbanization from 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. The Rímac district's Municipal N.° 3 and Flor de Amancaes sectors will have power cuts from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Los Olivos will see the entire Pro Lima urbanization affected from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. San Juan de Lurigancho's outages will span areas like the Asociación Jorge Basadre and La Huayrona urbanization from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Huaura's San Juan Bautista settlement will be affected from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Puente Piedra's scheduled cuts will impact the Asociación Municipal Luis Pardo Novoa and other housing associations.
