Senabico auction to sell properties and vehicles seized from organized crime

Paraguay’s National Secretariat for the Administration of Seized and Confiscated Assets, Senabico, announced its 22nd public auction for September 24. The auction will begin at 9 a.m. at the Centro Militar Naval, on Punta Brava near Avenida Madame Lynch.

The sale will include properties, heavy transport vehicles and private cars seized or confiscated in judicial proceedings and operations against organized crime and drug trafficking. One highlighted property is a 360-square-meter commercial and industrial warehouse in Mariano Roque Alonso, on Coronel Félix Bogado near Comuneros. It has an active rental contract generating G. 12 million a month and carries a starting price of G. 172.2 million.

The catalog also lists a 310-square-meter occupied home in Pedro Juan Caballero’s area near the 2 de Mayo stadium, on Colón near 12 de Junio. Its starting price is G. 414.75 million.

The vehicle lots include a 2005 Scania R310 grain truck with a starting price of G. 45 million, a 1999 Scania P094 at G. 30 million, a 2020 Kia K2700 at G. 25 million, a 1995 Mercedes-Benz 814 at G. 21 million and a three-axle livestock trailer at G. 30 million.

Among the private vehicles are a 2012 Toyota Hilux with a starting price of G. 30 million, a 2012 Volkswagen Tiguan and a 2011 Kia Sportage at G. 15 million each. The sedan lots include a 2007 Mercedes-Benz C250 at G. 15 million and a 1999 Mercedes-Benz C230 Kompressor, the cheapest listed vehicle, at G. 5 million.
