"Senukai" Plans to Hire 100 Highly Qualified Specialists, Invest 6 Million Euros

Lithuanian sports company "Darnu Group" is investing 0.44 million euros to significantly upgrade its tennis facilities. The funds will be allocated to renovating court surfaces, improving the Bernardinų Garden tennis complex, and expanding the "Re.Formatas" sports club located in the arena.

Ramūnas Grušas, director of "Darnu Group's" sports companies, stated that the goal is not only to maintain high standards but also to continuously improve the experience for visitors. "Tennis popularity in Lithuania is growing, and so are people's expectations," Grušas said. "Therefore, we are investing not only in the courts themselves but in the entire sports experience. We want everyone who comes here to find top-level conditions for sports, self-improvement, and leisure."

The "SEB arena" has already seen 70,000 euros invested in renovating six hard courts, updating their surfaces and color scheme. Grušas emphasized the importance of court quality for both daily play and hosting international tournaments like the Davis Cup and Billie Jean King Cup.

It is important for us not only to ensure the best possible conditions for people playing tennis at the arena daily but also to maintain the standards that allow us to organize various international tournaments, such as the Davis Cup and Billie Jean King Cup competitions.

The largest investment, approximately 350,000 euros, is dedicated to reconstructing the second floor of the arena to create a new, larger "Re.Formatas" sports club space. This expansion will add an area for group training, increasing weekly sessions by 30-40 and broadening the club's service offerings. Grušas noted a trend in Vilnius where people seek a comprehensive active lifestyle experience, including professional guidance and a sense of community, rather than just access to gym equipment.

We see that people are increasingly looking not for just one specific sports-related service, but for a comprehensive active lifestyle experience. The new spaces will allow us to offer more and varied training and activities, more convenient schedules, and more attention to clients. We notice that the trend in Vilnius is not just going to a gym with many machines. People want to find a space where they receive professional guidance and a sense of community.

Additionally, about 20,000 euros have been invested in the Bernardinų Garden tennis complex for infrastructure upgrades, including surface drainage and landscaping, to ensure better court quality and faster drying times after rain.
