Seoul G3 planning committee inspects northeastern growth hubs

A Seoul City planning committee focused on balanced development has inspected the progress of key growth hub projects in the northeastern region of the capital. The G3 committee's special subcommittee on balanced development visited areas in Chang-dong, Dobong District, and Sanggye-dong, Nowon District.

The committee's tour on July 11 included visits to the Seoul Arena, the Seoul Digital Bio-City (S-DBC), and the Jungnangcheon waterfront space. These sites are being developed as cultural and economic centers for the northeastern part of Seoul, according to a statement from the city government on July 12.

The inspection aimed to assess the current status of these significant development initiatives, which are intended to bolster the region's economic and cultural infrastructure. The G3 plan is a broader initiative by Seoul to foster growth and improve quality of life across different districts.
