Seoul Metropolitan University: Admissions officers answer live on YouTube in August

Seoul Metropolitan University's admissions office will hold two live YouTube sessions this August, offering prospective students and their parents a direct channel to interact with admissions officers. The broadcasts are scheduled for August 20 and August 25, starting around 7 p.m. KST, on the university's YouTube channel, 'Studio UA'.

These live sessions are designed to address the questions and concerns that arise during the university application process. Unlike traditional one-way information delivery through text or videos, these events will feature current admissions officers providing real-time answers. This format aims to deliver highly reliable information directly from the source.

Each session will be divided into two parts. The first part, lasting 60 minutes, will focus on frequently asked questions previously submitted through the admissions office's Q&A board. The second part, spanning 30 minutes, will engage viewers through real-time chat, allowing participants to ask questions and receive immediate responses from the admissions officers.

An official from the admissions office encouraged students and parents to "ask without hesitation about what you have always been curious about" during the live broadcast. These sessions are part of the university's 'UOS Admissions Talk' content series, created to provide comprehensive information about the admissions process as part of the 2026 High School Education Contribution University Support Project.
