Serbian Students Win 11 Medals at International Science Competitions

Serbian students have brought home a remarkable haul of 11 medals from prestigious international physics and mathematics competitions held in Colombia and China. This achievement highlights the strong academic capabilities of Serbian youth in STEM fields.

At the 56th International Physics Olympiad in Bucaramanga, Colombia, all five members of the Serbian team earned medals. This indicates a high level of performance and dedication from each participant, securing recognition for their expertise in physics.

Further success was achieved at the International Mathematics Summer Camp in Beijing, China, where a separate six-member Serbian team clinched six medals. This dual success across different scientific disciplines underscores the breadth of talent within Serbia's student population.

These competitions saw participation from over 400 students representing 85 countries, making the achievements of the Serbian students particularly noteworthy. Their success not only brings pride to their nation but also showcases the quality of science and mathematics education in Serbia on a global stage.
